The Kazuki Award
The Prestigious Lotaku Prize

The 2008 Kazuki Award

Discussions are currently underway for possible recipients of this years award. Feel free to make any nominations to mail@lotaku.co.uk.

The 2007 Kazuki AwardThe 2007 Kazuki Award

This was the first year that the Kazuki Award has been presented. The Kazuki award marks the anniversary of Shrotaku.co.uk, and in turn our mascot Kazuki.
It is awarded to an individual, group, or anyone who has contributed to assisting the growth of anime and manga in the UK, and more specifically helping local groups form and/or grow. It might also be awarded to someone we think truly deserves it.
The Kazuki Award 2007 Winner - Andrew WhelanThis years award was given at the Midlands MCM Expo (15th & 16th September 2007) to TokyoPop's Andrew Whelan.
Andrew's hard work and determination through running local events up and down the country played a huge part in the decision to award him the trophy, but Andrew was a key helper in establishing both Lotaku and Shrotaku by offering great advice, images and even prizes. Andrew was awarded the trophy, a black Kazuki hat and a set of badges, and seemed to be very chuffed with his award. Congratulations Andrew!
